Mission Statement
Our urban youth ministry is designed to reach and develop today’s youth by equipping them with biblical principles, academic excellence, and practical knowledge.
Ministry Scripture
2nd Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Responsibilities
U-Turn Youth Ministries believe that when U-Turn God will Turn-U. We believe in the development of the whole person; spirit, soul, and body by being spiritually aligned, mentally sharp, and physically disciplined. In collaboration with families and volunteers, we seek to empower our youth to serve Christ, unashamedly, while maturing strong witnesses born to their God-given destiny. We help recruit, train, and develop youth workers that have a call to raise up children to full-mature adults in Christ.
Expectations
We ask that you be committed to God and to the youth at NBC. We desire youth workers to remain positive, joyful, and energetic. Pray regularly for the youth ministry and its leaders. Commit to at least two (2) Sundays per month serving in Youth Service and to regular prayer, Bible Study, evangelism, personal worship, scripture memorization and accountability. Participate whole heartedly and follow through on responsibilities and support the youth through all walks of life.
Scheduled Meeting
4th Sunday of the month at 2:00pm at NBC
